American
DJ Wet Effects
American DJ Supply’s Water Column/5 is a five-foot high tower
filled with water that changes colors. Driven by a special effects
lamp concealed in a metal box at the base of the tower, the
water glows in eight different colors, plus white. Casting an
aura throughout the room, it creates patterns on walls and other
surfaces. The unit, which is linkable via XLR cable, can run
in three modes: random patterns, sound activation to the beat
of the music or through a DMX controller.

2-RU chassis, each amp offers virtually inaudible hum and noise
and ultra-low distortion performance. The PLX1002 provides 500
watts/channel at 2 ohms, while the PLX1602 offers 800 watts/channel.
The PLX2002 provides 1000 watts/channel and the PLX3002 provides
1,500 watts/channel. Each amp has all-metal XLR and ¼-inch balanced

Lytequest On Acid
The Acidbeam psychedelic projection effect from LyteQuest Pro
uses a variable speed wheel that rotates continuously to create
an ever-changing lighting effect. Designed with two wheels –
liquid and dry – the manufacturer says that the effect will
never produce the same display twice. Acidbeam uses one 120V/250W
ENH bulb. Lytequest has also introduced the Spider 2, a multi-beam
colored centerpiece effect that is sound activated, and a pair
of mini strobes, available in 25- and 35-watt versions.
