Let’s Patend
Patend Light

American DJ Supply has introduced the Patend Light, an intelligent DMX-compatible fixture designed for larger venues. The Patend Light is a scaled-up version of other units in the American DJ family of intelligent lighting, according to the company. This 360-degree continuously rotating effect produces ultra-bright gobo patterns and dichroic colors that maintain intensity over large areas. The light can be hung from the ceiling, operated from the floor or set on its side to illuminate walls and lateral surfaces. The light, which can be linked via XLR cable to other units, is available in two models. Both the Patend Light 575 and the brighter Patend Light 1200 have four rotating fixed gobos, plus two interchangeable gobos, nine dichroic colors and split color capabilities. The 1200 model comes with three extra color filters, producing up to 36 different colors and 36 split colors. The 1200 also has two prisms that rotate in both directions and one fixed prism.

ETA Intros PD11SP
PD11SP
ETA Systems has released the PD11SP, a microprocessor-monitored sequential power distribution system. The PD11SP Series has four power up/down steps, or stages, of distributed and conditioned power and four preset power up/down intervals between one and 30 seconds. The Series can be linked or daisy-chained. All linked units function as slaves and can be set to specific time delays. Units can be linked together using a two-wire, non-polar screw terminal or RCA cable connectors located on the rear panel. The conditioned power distribution units provide three-stage spike and surge protection and two-stage EMI/RFI filtration. The units were designed especially to guard against high in-rush current that can damage mixers, processors and amplifiers when powering up. Each DP11SP Series unit has 20 amps, 2,400-watt capacity and one dual 20 amp U-ground outlet per stage.
A protected “always on” 15-amp power outlet and 20- and
15-amp circuit breakers are located on the front panel.

DOD’s SR606
DOD SR606
The SR606 line mixer/distributor amplifier from DOD offers six TRS balanced ¼-inch inputs and outputs in a 1U chassis. The SR606 can be used to mix six inputs into a left/right stereo out- put or as a six-by-six buffer amplifier. The unit can also split a single input into six outputs or two inputs into three outputs as a distribution amplifier. Each channel has its own rotary gain control. An internal transformer takes the place of an external power supply,
while a steel barrier separates the transformer from
internal electronics to reduce noise.
