New York City – The call came at about 5:00 in the afternoon on a Wednesday in February from his old friend, Austrian DJ/producer Peter Rauhofer. Insert Arnold Schwarzenegger accent here: “Hex, you have won it!” On the other end of the phone, Hex Hector, knowing full well Rauhofer’s reputation for pranks, was skeptical. “Oh really,” he said, hesitant. Continue Schwarzenegger accent: “Yes, Hex, I am serious.” “I thought Maurice Joshua was going to get it,” he replied, still not believing his fellow remixer. Schwarzenegger: “Hex, it is true.
