"Flower"
Soul Dhamma
Velocity

Not to be confused with Armand Van Helden’s hit, Soul Dhamma’s new gem comes with unique sound all their own and features mixes by King Britt and KOT. Check out that edgy Pam London Rose Vocal, which is a little on the peak-hour tip. King Britt adds an Afrocentric Scuba mix, while KOT drops that classic house groove. Very sweet.

"Rende-Vu"
Basement Jaxx
X-L Recordings

This powerful deep house record has been an import favorite for awhile now. With a funky Latin-style guitar and a really wicked filtered male vocal (an amazing twist), "Rende-Vu" is a really fun record to mix into any deep house set. Don’t miss out!

"Someone"
Ascension
KineticKeith

Litman gives us this fun and ingenious remix, which is already blowing up on dancefloors all over New York City. With funky vibrating keyboards and a vicious female vocal, this record is easily mixed into any hard house set. A definite crowd-pleaser.

"I Got What You Need"
Powerhouse feat. Duane Harden
Strictly Rhythm

This full-on vocal house jam has the makings of a club anthem. Featuring a slammin’ piano-laden rhythm track and an over-the-top vocal performance by Harden, "I Got What You Need" is the bomb. Produced and mixed by Lenny Fontana (with a bangin’ remix by Full Intention), it’s an upfront track that leaves nothing in the studio. Don’t miss.

"High Energy"
JJ, Robbie Rivera & Richelle
Waako
From the vaults of NYC-based Waako Records comes this peak-hour floor filler. JJ, Robbie and Richelle have transformed this ultra-disco classic into an extremely motivating late-night house anthem. A simple drop of the needle is all that is needed to get this party started right. Highly recommended. 129.9 BPM.

Wiggle It Mama EP
Andrew Macari
Filter Flow

From England comes DJ/producer Andrew Macari’s wicked four-track bomb that features the ultra cool "Washed Up" – sure to be a DJ’s favorite. Then there’s the bouncy "I Wanna Be" with the filtering effects and sexy horn hits. Things get a little harder with "Stump" and "Stump Dub." An awesome collection from start to finish.

"Naughty By Nature - The Megamix"
Naughty By Nature
Tommy Boy
DJs Insane and To Kool Chris get loose on this Naughty Megamix by slicing and dicing some of the group’s biggest hits into a montage of colorful memories. Everything from "O.P.P." to "Hip Hop Hooray" to "Everything’s Gonna Be Alright" can be found within the realms of this non-stop DJ session. Mobile DJs will also be happy to know that the disc is radio friendly. 101 BPM.

"People Get Down"
Scape
Groovilicious
Get ready for this one. DJ Escape throws us a hard-house curve ball that jumps all over the place and has some really intense and unpredictable builds. Look out for the roaring key riffs that change up and will really catch you off guard. Nice hard percussion and a funky vocal make this an outstanding production. Very hot!

– Shawn Christopher

"Maria"
Blondie
Logic

Pure excitement. Soul Solution offers up a "Full Remix," which features that great hook along with an epic progressive groove. Add that with some nifty chord arrangement, piano hits, and some classic drum roll breaks and this will be a club favorite. Talvin Singh offers up his own silky smooth drum-n-bass interpretation as well. Ambient and d-n-b jocks will love it and you may not recognize it. Very cool.

You Can Run...
H2O
Liquid Groove
A full-length effort from one of New York’s coolest indies, Liquid Groove. This bangin’ H2O project features the hits "Nobody’s Business," "The Future," and the title track. But there are few potentials here as well, including the funky "H2O The Flow" and "Should I." Masterminded by producer Oliver Strum, this looks like the start of something special with club-ready jams abounding

"Just Can’t Get Enough"
Harry "Choo-Choo"
Romero pres. Inaya Day
Subliminal

A straight-bangin’ double-pack of roof-raising vocal house, these remixes for Romero’s killer cut should work for DJs who like a little hard-edge to their vocals. "Just Can’t Get Enough" shines brightest on "Choo Choo’s Main Vocal Mix," which is storming. Remixes from Pete Heller ("Pete’s Latino Vocal Mix") and Robbie Rivera (two versions of "Robbie Rivera’s Bangin’ Dub") kick fairly fiercely – Rivera loves those funky-Frenchy breaks – and they both infuse Day’s arresting vocal for optimum effect. Available in the U.K. on AM:PM.

Session 2
Eddie Amador
ICU

As his song goes, "not everyone understands house music," but Eddie Amador sure does. The maker of that catchy line, taken from his now classic "House Music," drops a mixed-CD compilation that shows off his considerable DJ skills. And he is smooth. With cuts like Csilla’s "Play With The Voice," Jocelyn Brown’s "Free," Joe T. Vanelli’s "Sweetest Day of May," and a new ’99 mix of "House Music," Amador’s mixes flow effortlessly from one track to another. Fourteen tracks round out this garage house collection and it’s a definite party starter.
