Doctor, Doctor

The SkipDoctor from Digital Innovations is being hailed as the first consumer CD scratch repair device. SkipDoctor was designed to repair abrasions, light to medium scratches, dust, fingerprints and surface imperfections. The "reversibility" function allows it to repair deeper or more stubborn scratches, as well. Rather than using abrasive pastes to repair CDs, the SkipDoctor uses a patented radial polishing process. To remove skips using SkipDoctor, spray the CD with the provided filtered water resurfacing fluid and turn the handle on the machine until the CD makes one complete revolution. The reversibility switch allows you to make another revolution in the opposite direction. The process is finished by drying the CD with the provided cloth and using the felt buffing square to restore the disc's shiny finish. SkipDoctor also repairs damaged CD-ROMs, DVDs, PlayStation discs and CD-Rs, and comes with The CD Owner's Guide to Understanding and Caring for CDs.
