Novation’s Launchpad has received a colorful new upgrade with a new industrial design.
The 8×8 button grid is now equipped with RGB pads, letting users launch clips, play drum racks, and control a mixer in Ableton while creating an exciting lightshow. Each of the pads are match the color of your clips in Ableton’s Session View, allowing you to quickly glance what you’re triggering.
The new Launchpad boasts extreme portability, being lightweight, easy to pack, and fully USB-bus-powered. The Launchpad can be linked up with other units or other Launch products—including Launch Control, Launch Control XL, and Launchkey—to create hands-on Ableton Live studio suite.
Ableton Live Lite, 1 GB of Loopmasters samples, and the Novation Bass Station VST & AU plugin synth are included in the package, giving users almost everything they need to begin making music immediately. The Novation Launchpad App is also supported, allowing the RGB pads to be used with an iPad as well.
