Cloud-based audio post-production platform LANDR has launched its dedicated DJ Engine, which aims to streamline music creation and production for electronic and hip-hop DJs.
Offering the same functionality as the existing LANDR platform—metadata editing, DAW integration, file management, and cloud backup—with a new AI-driven algorithm designed specifically for DJs, the new engine focuses on the low-end while adding weight for clear, transcendent highs without distortion. The system is built on advanced machine learning, which promises users—the likes of which include Wolf + Lamb and Tiga—to master multiple tracks in a DJ mix in minutes while still maintaining transitions, build ups, and breakdowns. Additionally, a partnership with Native Instruments will allow users to begin mastering Stems Format using the DJ Engine in the coming weeks.
