After a minor delay, the organizers of Chicago’s Spring Awakening Music Festival have taken the wraps off the event’s lineup and location for its 2016 installment.
This summer’s edition will see the festival celebrating its five-year anniversary, with the festivities set for June 10-12 in Addams/Medill Park. The 2016 debauchery will be soundtracked by over 100 different performers, who will take to the decks across five stages throughout the weekend.
For the first time, SAMF will boast two main stages: the DJ Stage—including Kaskade, The Chainsmokers, and Above & Beyond—and the live Electronic Stage (featuring deadmau5, Jamie XX, Flying Lotus, and more). Elsewhere, six different brands will post up on two of SAMF’s other stages each day, with Claude VonStroke Presents The Birdhouse and All Gone Pete Tong joining the Bass Kitchen, Body Language, and Trance Arena stages this year.
