Seas of neon-clad ravers will head out to Citi Field this weekend for the New York installment of the venerable Electric Daisy Carnival, but those looking for a night of sophisticated tech-house grooves need to look no further than Output’s Saturday night afterparty.
The club’s main room boasts some of tech-house’s finest talents, with Technasia, Santé, and Harvard Bass set to take turns ripping into the Brooklyn crowd with some fiery bass until the early morning. Put together, the three artists have released indomitable tracks on labels like Toolroom, Relief Records, Hot Creations, and Knee Deep in Sound, with plays by every heavy-hitter in the scene.
Over in the Panther Room, Saved, Visionquest, and Edible Recordings favorite Lauren Lane will take dancers on a tech-house excavation with hazy soundscapes and expert selections throughout the night. Catch our recent extended chat with the Los Angeles-based artist here.
