Pioneer DJ’s flagship CDJ-NXS2 setup has a new arena-grade offering in the form of the newly unveiled CDJ-TOUR1 and DJM-TOUR1.
Described as “festival-ready” with its 13-inch touch screens and top-notch audio components, the CDJ-TOUR1 and DJM-TOUR1 aim to deliver high performance in large venues. Both models are equipped with ESS Technology 32-bit D/A converter to eliminate low noise and give clear sound at all scales, with the DJM-TOUR1 being the first mixer to come with a pro audio grade AES/EBU digital output that can connect to the front of the house over long distances with no quality loss.
The units’ touch screens come with built-in CPU, giving DJs control to browse faster, grasp waveforms, and search for tracks via a QWERTY keyboard. Back-to-back DJ sets will benefit from the DJM-TOUR1’s two independent headphone sections for separate track cueing.
Both the CDJ-TOUR1 and DJM-TOUR1 will be available in August 2016. Watch TOUR1 introduction video below and head to PioneerDJ.com for more information.
