There’s always been an unwritten rule when it comes to electronic producer’s revisiting timeless classics but if Stardust wants to rally the troops and re-release “Music Sounds Better With You,” we’ll be right here waiting for it.
The French house classic will be turning twenty years old this year and in a recent interview with Billboard, one of the producers of the electronic supergroup, Alan Braxe, revealed that they will be re-releasing their hit record to celebrate its 20th anniversary.
“I was a bit anxious too, but a month ago I had a listen to the song and I felt like, ‘Wow, it sounds a bit old now.’ It sounds good, but compared to today it sounds a bit old, and I thought it’s a good thing to try and update it,” said Braxe.
“We did some very subtle compression, it sounds a bit like on the original 12-inch.”
With this news of the re-release still being hot off the presses, no official release date has been announced.
