When it comes to Ranger Trucco, his story is most bedroom producer/DJ’s dream. The Michigan native dropped out of college to head west to pursue his career as a producer/DJ, working at Shake Shack while attending the Icon Collective music school with his track “Tiffany” catching the ear of Space Yacht A&Rs LondonBridge & Hiddenhen during a demo feedback live stream…and the rest is history. As the bass music scene continues to thrive with promising producers popping up every other day, trap is back and VILLA is a reason for that. (See what I did there?) The New York native has found her niche when it comes to production unleashing her fury with a handful of thunderous, emotionally charged trap anthems setting the tone for what’s to expect from this budding talent
No stranger to dominating the Beatport charts as of late, Chicago’s John Summit has quickly become the hottest name in dance music following the release of “Deep End” in June 2020. Having already cracked the code when it comes to infectious dancefloor-ready weapons, Summit has certainly made his hometown proud considering he hails from a city where house music has its own legacy. John Summit will be a staple during the soundtrack of your summer….whether you like it or not.
While he may not need an introduction to all those who have their figure on the pulse of the dubstep scene, the French talent Dr. Ushūu has proven time and time again to be a true force to be reckoned with. With each of his productions coming equipped with bone-crushing bass and striking melodies, this is one Doctor who continues to pump new life into the dubstep scene and shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon. With the bass music scene flourishing, it is only a matter of time before Dr. Ushūu find himself in the spotlight.
Considered a true Australian groove specialist with a lengthy discography packed with deep, dark, driving and club-oriented tunes, Double Agent is one promising name to keep a close eye on throughout 2021. Always one to keep listeners on their toes pushing the traditional boundaries when it comes to house music, there isn’t a stale bone in his body which will allow him to evolve and keep things fresh whenever he steps into the studio.
