This weekend HARD Summer will be invading California’s NOS Events Center for the 2021 edition of the festival which features two days of stacked lineups including larger-than-life electronic and hip-hop acts for what is sure to be another unforgettable weekend.

While there is indeed no shortage of talent showcasing their skills across five stages during this two-day extravaganza, I’ve decided to put together a “must-see” list to help assist you to put together the perfect soundtrack to your weekend.

It’s obvious that everyone is excited to see industry heavy-hitters JOYRYDE, Dillon Francis, KAYZO, DJ Snake b2b Malaa, JAUZ, RL Grime b2b Baauer, and REZZ but here are 8 names that definitely deserve your attention this weekend.

LAYZ

There seems to be a new wave of dubstep talent popping up each week which is something headbangers love to see with LAYZ being a fresh face making serious ripples throughout the scene with a few bone-crushing originals. Recently making an appearance on one of the compilations on Excision‘s Subsidia label launch, that’s enough of a stamp of approval for sway anyone into her corner. Not serving up tunes or sets for the faint of heart, LAYZ is a name to catch this weekend if you’re a true headbanger all about the filthy womps and wobbles.

The list of blossoming bass music talent is getting longer by the day which is a great thing to see keeping the scene fresh with Nitepunk certainly being in the conversation. Delivering mind-blowing productions primed to give your speakers a run for their money, his sophisticated sound design has already separated him from the rest of the pack. Drawing influence the chaos from New York, this is one producer that will certainly have listeners on their toes often.

This Canadian talent has been one to push the traditional boundaries of electronic music tapping into a wide variety of musical influences. Finding herself serving up bone-rattling house hits delivering both quality and quantity with a steady flow of releases on labels such as Steve Aoki‘s Dim Mak, AC Slater‘s Night Bass, Tchami‘s Confession, Nostalgix has quickly began garnered the attention of dance fans and her peers with her career on the brink of kicking it into high gear. Plus, Hard Summer will be her United States festival debut!

Hailing from Philadelphia, ZíA is another one of bass music most promising producers unleashing her fury with a steady barrage of devastating dubstep. With an arsenal of tunes released on powerhouse imprints Bassrush and Zed Dead‘s Deadbeats, there is simply no denying she knows how to cook them up and will be looking to light up the crowd with her merciless weapons Saturday at the Green stage.

Already considered quite the bass music enthusiast, SIPPY is a force to be reckoned with cooked up and serving some of the filthiest tunes out there. The Australian ICON Collective alumni quickly found her niche in the world of dubstep and never looked back, continuing to impress with each and every release. With a boatload of original productions on the way, the wrath of this pint-sized powerhouse has just begun with HARD Summer her latest destination.

Being the ultimate power couple when it comes to the world of electronic dance music, Arius (a combination of their Aries and Sagittarius astrological signs) are always two to get the party started and look to do that Sunday to get the party started. Always bring the bass whether melodic or relentless rail-breaking anthems, ARIUS is guaranteed to get your blood pumping and leave you bouncing early!

Being one of the fresh faces in the scene, Capozzi has quickly solidified her place as one of house music’s most promising talents. With releases of esteemed imprints such as Tchami’s Confession and AC Slater’s Night Bass, she has proved to have cracked the code when it comes to engineering infectious hard-hitting house heaters. Be sure to head to the Pink tent Sunday at 3:00 if you’re looking to get your groove on!

If you’re tapped into the world of house music, it’s safe to assume you’ve become quite familiar with the L.A-based phenom Lucati who is toting an arsenal of infectious club-ready weapons. Despite having more than a decade’s worth of records to his name, it is now his time to shine with house music being an undeniable fan favorite as of late.
