The Hazan Media Group (HMG) has inked a deal with Testa Communications to produce the DJ Expo for August 2021 and 2022. Known as the largest and longest-standing DJ event in the country, the show has shifted back to Atlantic City’s legendary Boardwalk and will take place Aug. 9-12 at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City.

The Hazan Media Group, a privately held integrated media company, has decades of event production, brand-building and content-creation experience specific to lifestyle industries.

Robin Hazan, Co-Founder and Partner of HMG, has been involved in the management of Testa Communications for over 32 years. “It is an honor to be given the opportunity to carry the torch and continue the DJ Expo,” she says. “This is something that has both a personal and professional motivation for me. I am excited to promote the event experience while continuing to play our part within the DJ community, culture, and lifestyle.”

The Hazan Media Group was created to build experiences and communities in the lifestyle sectors based on culturally relevant emerging trends. HMG’s other Co-Founder and Partner, Shawn Hazan, is also the CEO of HAZCOMM, a strategic advisory group with a focus on the events market. Shawn brings nearly 30 years of large-scale, global-event management experience to HMG. “I am excited to partner with Robin in producing the DJ Expo in 2021 and 2022,” he says. “Our purpose is to reflect and execute a strategic vision that aligns with the needs of this rapidly evolving marketplace.”
