For avid readers of DJ Times, it’s no secret that we’re big fans of the London-based DJ collective Horse Meat Disco.

The quirky four-piece— James Hillard, Jim Stanton, Filthy Luka, and Severino—has held down their eponymous club night at the The Eagle in London every Sunday for years, armed weekly with a plethora of deep disco cuts and groovy house selections. Dubbed “the queer party for everyone,” Horse Meat Disco has seen a level of popularity that has led to the quartet bringing the funky shuffling to other festivals, clubs, and hot spots all around the world. Last year, the boys found a permanent home for the always-packed party in New York City with a regular residence at Brooklyn’s Output Nightclub.

In the months since, the 11th Street & Wythe Avenue venue has become a haven for the gay-leaning shindig, which has routinely packed the club wall-to-wall with party-loving revelers with ease. This Sunday, the guys are returning to the club’s deck for a special Martin Luther King Day weekend throwdown with Spank DJs Sean B & Will Automagic in the main room and Mike Servito and Ron Like Hell in the adjoining Panther Room.
