Get in the Mix: Win a DJ Slot at DJ Expo ’21

Atlantic City, N.J. – What’s new at this summer’s DJ Expo? Plenty, and at the top of the list is the show’s first-ever, open-format DJ competition.

Set for Aug. 9-12 at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City, the 2021 DJX will give one up-and-coming DJ a chance to win a spot to spin at the show in front of his or her peers. In conjunction with moving to an exciting, new venue, the re-branded DJX will launch its inaugural DJX DJ Competition Friday, May 28, by taking entries for consideration (details below).

Finalists will have their video mix broadcast on DJ Times’ Twitch channel as part of its “Road to DJX” mix series, with one grand-prize winner being announced on July 26th.

Entering the contest is simple. Entrants must submit one (1) 30- to 45-minute video DJ mix (must be open-format) that demonstrates track selection, boldness, and precision. The DJ Times’ team will then review these mixes and determine the competition’s group of finalists.

To enter, fill out the form on the right. You will receive a reply email providing instructions and a Dropbox link to upload your mix file. Finalists will be contacted ahead of their DJ-mix Twitch stream.
