It’s almost time for A-Trak’s new DJ & Beat Battle with the inaugural Goldie Awards taking place September 7th at Brooklyn Steel.
After weeding through over 300 online submissions and bumping 6 DJs and 6 producers final contestants to 8, we have our finalists who will showcase their skills in front of Diplo, Just Blaze, Mannie Fresh, DJ Craze, Mija, Destructo and the Whooligan. Finalists include a 13-year-old from New Zealand, three world champion DJs, a techno producer using analog gear, and they will be flying in from all corners of North America, Japan, Germany, Portugal, and more.
