Following up the release of her club-ready weapon “Give Em What They Want,” Mija has returned to the realm of indie-electronic reuniting with sharks! to bring us “Get Lost.”
Being the latest gem added to the bitbird catalogue, “Get Lost” is a feel-good tune that is primed to thrive throughout the summertime perfect for riding around with windows down while sooking up the sun.
Writing up the lyrics and delivering the vocals for this one, Mija showcases her artistic prowess putting her creative mind together with sharks! (Mark Evans and Choppa Dunks) to cook up a dreamy collaboration that runs pretty deep.
This danceable indie tune was “a way for me to bridge the gap between my electronic and indie/pop sides and make art with my friends,” Mija says. Sharks! adds “Get Lost” “was made just by messing around in the studio having fun and then ending up with a really cool song that we all loved. I feel like that’s when the best stuff happens.”
“Inspired by newly found freedom and the appeal of getting lost in this world knowing that no matter what happens we will learn and grow from our experiences,” say the collaborators.
