The national non-profit Little Kids Rock has partnered with the Jam Master Jay Foundation aiming to bring hip-hop to music classrooms across the country while keeping Jam Master Jay’s legacy alive and inspiring the next generation.

Next Thursday, July 26th, they will be announcing this partnership at New York’s Scratch Academy, which was founded by Jam Master Jay before tragic his death in 2002.

This event will feature The late Jam Master Jay’s wife, Terri Mizell, who is Executive Director of the Foundation, will be there along with her two sons Jessie and TJ (star of Growing Up Hip Hop and DJ for A$AP Ferg, who is performing in NYC that night) alongside Little Kids Rock Founder and CEO David Wish.

The Scratch Academy, will host 40 NYC students to receive free hip-hop/DJ lessons from TJ and other special superstar DJ artists including DJ Scratch.

Little Kids Rock will be announcing the hiring of its first-ever national Hip Hop Curriculum Specialist Kenrick Wagner

The event will be taking place at 32 Cooper Square at 3:30 PM.
