No strangers to dominating the airwaves, Alesso and Marshmello look to do the same once again together as we close out the summer with “Chasing Stars” featuring James Bay.
Certainly no festival anthem, their collaboration “Chasing Stars” serves as a soulful production fueled by folk-infused guitar work and soaring vocals that radiates an aura of dreamy nostalgia throughout.
Coming accompanied by a music video directed by Jake Jelicich, the fantastically surreal visual for the star-studded collaboration finds Bay working the counter at a video store and scanning through a stack of VHS tapes. He becomes mesmerized by the deeply intimate, home-movie-like scenes onscreen and soon ends up fully transported into those memories.
