The powerhouse duo of Armand Van Helden and A-Trak have just served up their second single “Get To Steppin” as the latest offering of their comeback tour but in the latest edition of our Timeless Tuesdays series we’ve decided to take a look back at their breakout hit.
Pumping new life into electronic dance music with a steady barrage of groovy, club-ready weapons, it was “Barba Streisand” that dominated the airwaves. Blowing up speakers back in 2010 using a sample from Boney M.’s 1979 tune “Gotta Go Home,” “Barba Streisand” is a true nu-disco classic that is in a league of its own.
Now that this dynamic duo of disco enthusiasts has returned to showcase what the essence of dance music is truly all about, it’s impossible to discuss the iconic status of Duck Sauce without “Barbra Streisand” popping up in the conversation.
